How do I book?

What is flotation therapy?
Flotation therapy is a quiet, private experience in which you rest without effort in a warm, highly buoyant Epsom-salt solution. With less pressure from gravity and fewer outside distractions, many guests use the time for deep rest, relaxation, recovery, and mental quiet. Every experience is personal, and results vary.
I do not usually float. Will I sink?
No swimming skill is required. The dense Epsom-salt solution supports your body at the surface, so you can relax without working to stay afloat.
What should I bring for a float?
Bring yourself and an openness to the experience. We provide the essentials needed for your session and will explain everything before you begin. If you have a specific comfort, mobility, or accessibility need, please contact us before your visit.
How should I prepare for a float?
Arrive a few minutes early for orientation. Avoid a very large meal immediately beforehand; a light meal or snack is usually more comfortable. Stay hydrated without drinking so much that you may need to interrupt the session. If you have open skin, a fresh tattoo, or recently colored or chemically treated hair, contact us before booking.
Will my hair get wet, and do I need a bathing suit?
Plan for your hair to get wet. Your float room and shower are private, so a bathing suit is optional. Wear one if it helps you feel more comfortable, though some guests find the fabric distracting.
I have never floated. What happens, and how much control do I have?
We will orient you to the room and give you time for questions. Your session is private, and you remain in control of your comfort, including the available light and sound options. You may open the float cabin or leave the session at any time.
Do I need to meditate or do anything special?
No. There is nothing you have to achieve. You can rest, observe your thoughts, listen to available music, or simply enjoy the quiet. The reduced stimulation does the work of creating space for relaxation.
How much time should I allow for my visit?
Your booked float time is the time spent floating. Please also allow time for orientation, a pre-float shower, a post-float shower, and getting dressed. Plan for about 90 minutes total for a 60-minute float and about two hours for a 90-minute float.
How are the float rooms kept clean?
The float solution is filtered between guests, and the water chemistry and clarity are routinely monitored. The room and high-touch surfaces are also prepared between appointments. Please contact us if you would like details about our current sanitation procedures.
Can I float while pregnant or if I have a health condition?
If you are pregnant or have a kidney disorder, seizure condition, severe mobility limitation, or another health concern, consult your healthcare professional and contact us before booking. Do not float while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
How often should I float?
There is no single schedule that is right for everyone. Some guests prefer weekly sessions, others float monthly, and some visit whenever they feel the need for a reset. Choose a rhythm that supports your goals and budget.
What should I expect from a massage?
Your therapist will begin with a brief conversation about your preferences, areas of focus, and comfort. Pressure and approach can be adjusted throughout the session.
Can I adjust or stop a session?
Yes. Your comfort and consent come first. You can ask for changes or end a session at any time.
